Welcome to Roehampton Church Forest Primary School, and thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of all children, staff, parents and governors, old and new, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our small and delightful school. 

Roehampton Church Forest School, or RCFS as it is lovingly known, is a small, one form entry school, consisting of children from 3 to 11 year olds, situated in the heart of Roehampton, next to Putney Heath, serving the community since 1858. 

At RCFS, we have developed a wonderful community for our children, which consists of dedicated and warm staff who strive to support each and every child. They value individual strengths, helping them to develop and flourish in their own time, so that they are able to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.  

We have recently started our journey to become an accredited Forest School and have two Level 3 trained teachers, who lead this amazing element of our curriculum. This accreditation will take 3 years and the children and staff are really enjoying learning outdoors. This ethos, together with our Christian ethos, is embedded within all aspects of our school life, enables our children to reflect on their learning and behaviour and how they can develop into global citizens.

Our main values of Responsible, Caring, Fearless and Secure are taught to children from Nursery to Year 6. We endeavour to ensure that all children, staff, parents and governors care for each other and treat everyone with respect, supporting those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We make sure that our children feel secure in all that they do, so that they are able to take risks and grow in all areas of their life, including taking responsibility for their own learning. Embedding these core values within our children means that they can feel confident enough to develop and support, not only themselves, but also the local, wider and global community.
