Equality & Diversity

Responsible, Caring, Fearless & Secure
‘How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!’
Psalm 133:1
At Roehampton Church Forest School, equality is understood as a direct expression of our theologically rooted Christian vision, “Nurturing Individuality, Growing Together, Embracing Community.” Grounded in the belief that every person is created in God’s image, leaders actively remove barriers to participation, learning and wellbeing so that all pupils and adults can flourish. Inclusive practice shapes curriculum design, relationships and pastoral care, ensuring dignity, belonging and opportunity for all, particularly those who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. As a result, diversity is celebrated as a strength, relationships are characterised by respect and compassion, and pupils develop a growing understanding of justice, responsibility and living well together in unity.
