Today, we said a fond farewell to Miss Anderson, who has been our Headteacher since June 2022. The celebrations took place over 2 days, with Miss Anderson being surprised in the Easter service, by Mrs Azurdia giving a beautiful speech and presenting Miss Anderson with a lovely painting from the staff and painted by Mrs Jennings. The children were also invited to share their thoughts with Miss Anderson and the rest of the congregation. Rev. Joshua gave a very warm and heartfelt thank you on behalf of the Governing Board. The festivities carried on the following day, with a tea party for all the children, parents and staff, with some tears, lots of laughs and an enormous amount of hugs. Miss Anderson gave the KS2 playground some much-needed football goals as a present to the children, along with some den building equipment for EYFS / KS1 children. Miss Anderson was treated to lots of lovely presents, smiles and hugs for which she is very grateful and has said how much she will miss the RCFS community and family.
