Admissions

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Mark 10: 13-16

Appeals Timeline

At RCS, parents / carers who are not offered a place for their child, have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel. Parents wishing to appeal should obtain an appeal form from the school and send it to reach the Clerk to the Appeal panel, c/o the School, within 20 school days of the date of the letter confirming the Governors’ decision not to offer a place.

The school will ensure that those making an appeal receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing and ensure that any decision letters are sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever feasible.

Should some appeals be unsuccessful, the Governing body will not consider further applications from those parents within the same academic year unless there have been significant and material changes in their circumstances.
